Responsibilities

* Ensure all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works are executed on schedule, in full compliance with relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.

* Liaise, coordinate, and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors to resolve M&E-related issues and ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.

* Lead and coordinate the site team—including M&E engineers, structural engineers, and architectural coordinators—to achieve high-quality performance that meets consultants' specifications and clients' expectations.

* Attend project site and coordination meetings (CCMs), addressing and resolving any technical issues that arise.

* Oversee the timely preparation and submission of M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements, ensuring approvals are obtained in accordance with the M&E master schedule.

* Supervise and guide all M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings, materials, and method statements.

* Review and verify site M&E variation orders, and report progress updates or site issues to the Head Office.

* Conduct M&E site inspections and quality checks, and troubleshoot any technical issues or system problems encountered on-site.

* Review and study consultants' technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and design intent to identify discrepancies, raising RFIs or coordinating resolutions with consultants and clients as needed.

* Organize and lead M&E monthly meetings to coordinate, control, and oversee all M&E activities and deliverables.

* Attend to and resolve all M&E issues during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

* Participate in Design & Build (D&B) projects in collaboration with consultants and architects.
