The Opportunity

The Business Development Manager - SE Asia will be responsible for driving new business growth across the region by identifying, engaging, and converting strategic opportunities. This role requires a commercially astute professional capable of managing the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closure while strengthening the companys market presence and brand reputation. The BDM will collaborate closely with the Operational and Financial Regional Managers to ensure alignment with strategic growth objectives and to deliver sustained revenue performance, exceptional customer engagement, and Best-in-Class service standards.

Reporting to: Sales Director

Location: Singapore, with regular travel in region

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Drive profitable and sustainable growth by identifying, pursuing, and converting new business sales opportunities within the region acting as a true deal closer who can secure and deliver results.
  • Embed new business successfully by engaging and aligning key internal and external stakeholders throughout implementation and customer onboarding to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.
  • Lead RFP/RFQ development and management, assessing commercial viability, opportunity, and risk to ensure a realistic and strategic chance of winning new or additional business across existing and prospective aerospace customers.
  • Develop and grow the Customer Solutions team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management to enhance capability, improve conversion rates, and increase profitability.
  • Identify and expand new sales channels and customer opportunities within the aerospace vertical while contributing to the continued evolution of B&Hs customer solutions offering.
  • Report directly to the Executive Team and Board, maintaining accountability for all new business development activities, sales performance, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Network team to strengthen relationships across global offices and reinforce B&H Worldwides position as the market leader in aerospace logistics.
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends, competitor activity, and market forces, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to enhance brand visibility across the region and ensure consistent messaging and market positioning.
  • Contribute to regional marketing and communications, including social media engagement, to maximise B&H Worldwides presence and reputation within the aerospace logistics sector.

Your Experience

  • Extensive and proven solution sales experience in a customer-facing, targeted environment, gained within the aerospace logistics industry, with evidence of leading high performing teams, developing and converting business and commercial opportunities.
  • Have the ability to close sales deals.
  • Customer focussed with excellent attention to detail, commercially minded with ability to design and implement customer solutions in aerospace logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review complex data to generate business solutions which satisfy both customer and company objectives.
  • Excellent people-management experience, track record of getting excellent results through the development of the Customer Solutions team.
  • Must be eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future
