We are seeking an individual who enjoys working with people to join our team on an exciting journey, where we will be conducting research to better understand what life is like for people who survive ICU. Ideal candidates will have a background in biomedical related sciences, an aptitude for problem solving, ability to multi-task, work autonomously, keep task on track, and good communication skills. Some exposure to working in clinical environments, or medical research, is an advantage but not a specific requirement. Clinical research coordinator training will be provided. Candidates should be aware that the nature of the work, which include patient recruitment for studies does not lend itself to work from home arrangements.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of clinical studies/clinical trials
  • Conduct the studies according to the study protocol, GCP, IRB and ensure the compliance with regulatory requirements. Training provided.
  • Ensure safety of clinical research subjects and report any adverse events to investigators and regulatory agencies
  • Assist investigators in pre-screening, determining eligibility, enrolment and follow-up visits of enrolled
  • Collect accurate and timely data
  • Maintain detailed records of all aspects of the studies
  • Willing to work in ICU setting
  • Able to communicate with patients and patients' family in proper manner
  • Handle biological samples and keep track of sample transfer
  • Facilitate research administrative tasks and help manage project agreements and contracts when needed

Requirements

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

  • Bachelor degree preferably in Life Sciences or an equivalence qualification

Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in medical research is an advantage
  • Good skills with Microsoft 365 suite
