About the role

As a Senior Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production team. This full-time, permanent role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the company's manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to meet daily output targets and quality standards
  2. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity
  3. Provide on-the-job training and coaching to production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities
  4. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as planning and maintenance, to address any issues or bottlenecks in the production workflow
  6. Analyse production data and provide reports to management on team performance and production metrics
  7. Foster a positive team culture and motivate staff to achieve their individual and team goals

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control procedures
  3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
  5. Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use relevant software and tools
  6. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team-based environment
  7. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
