The Role

At Kyndryl, you'll help power the digital infrastructure that drives industries forward. As a Data Centre Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role in maintaining and securing our mission-critical environments. You'll work with purpose, collaborate across teams, and grow in a culture that values your voice and your potential.

What You'll Do

You'll lead and support operations that keep our data centres resilient, secure, and efficient. Your top priorities will be:

• Infrastructure Oversight
  Manage and monitor complex systems—power, cooling, fire suppression—with a focus on uptime and operational excellence.

• Security and Compliance
  Oversee access control, CCTV, and visitor protocols. Ensure compliance with physical security standards and respond to incidents.

• Advanced IT Operations
  Perform system health checks, troubleshoot issues, support disaster recovery, and contribute to change and incident management.

You'll also help document processes, track assets, and generate reports that support transparency and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in IT operations or data centre environments.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure systems and operational workflows.

• Familiarity with physical security protocols and compliance standards.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and vendors.

• Comfortable working in rotating shifts and responding to critical incidents.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.

• Data Centre Operations certification.

• Basic IT infrastructure certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco).

• Security awareness certification.

• Experience with documentation and reporting tools.
