About the Role

Our Client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team to support data governance, user access management, and IT audit functions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the institution to strengthen compliance processes, ensure adherence to policies, and safeguard information integrity in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Data Compliance

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish practicable data governance and compliance processes.
  • Advise internal management on implementation plans for new compliance frameworks.
  • Support the rollout of policies and procedures through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide advice to staff on data and research compliance matters.
  • Evaluate research and non-research requests to ensure alignment with organizational policies.

User Access Governance

  • Assist in establishing and reviewing IT procedures to align with governance frameworks.
  • Support the implementation of new user access policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate periodic review of the System Role-Based Access Matrix.
  • Resolve ID requests related to clinical applications and research projects.

IT Audit Management

  • Support the development of risk-based IT audit workplans and determine review scopes with CMIO.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure timely execution of audit work addressing key risks.
  • Monitor management action plans to ensure timely closure of control issues.
  • Coordinate with CIO Office to prepare audit-related submissions.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects including investigations, policy development, training, and more.

Requirements

  • Training will be provided to candidates without prior experience. Candidates with 2–3 years of relevant experience in data governance, compliance, IT audit will be considered for more senior appointments.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
