Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Qualified Person (QP) and Project Engineers in managing site works and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities.
  • Review method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions, and highlight discrepancies or issues for resolution.
  • Ensure safety standards and environmental practices are strictly adhered to on-site.
  • Conduct inspections, quality checks, and prepare site reports, records, and documentation as required.
  • Attend site, progress, and coordination meetings and provide technical input where necessary.
  • Monitor construction progress, highlight potential risks or delays, and recommend corrective measures.
  • Support the certification and verification of works, including civil and structural components such as earthworks, drainage, pipe jacking, and other civil engineering activities.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Must be a registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA (Building and Construction Authority), Singapore.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering / infrastructure works; prior experience in pipe jacking, earth retaining systems, or sewer/drainage works is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of BCA regulations, Singapore Standards, and workplace safety practices.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
