Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Assistant Engineer (Automation):

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, setup, integration, and testing of automation systems.
  • Design, program, and debug robotic systems for machine development and integration.
  • Develop, integrate, and test vision inspection systems.
  • Program and test PLC and HMI systems.
  • Support new machine installation, commissioning, and validation.
  • Troubleshoot automation equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for machine failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to support machine improvements and debugging.
  • Provide technical support to production and inspection teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in automation.
  • Strong knowledge in automation system troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with machine installation, electrical wiring, and assembly.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming (e.g., Keyence, Omron, Mitsubishi).
  • Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and vision inspection systems will be an advantage.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 3,700 + AWS + VB
  • Working Location: Joo Koon
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 7.50am to 4.55pm (Mondays - Fridays)
