What the role is:

As a Character and Citizenship Education Officer in the Student Development Curriculum Division 1, you will hold the role of Head of Administration & Finance with the National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) under the Character and Citizenship Education Branch. You will be based in Home Team Academy (501 Old Chua Chu Kang Road, Singapore and be responsible for supporting character and citizenship education outcomes in NPCC.

What you will be working on:

  1. Support and assist the Commandant NPCC in the strategic development and implementation of NPCC's goals and plans; as well as the planning and management of corps administrative and financial matters.
  2. Oversee the management and administration of the procurement processes.
  3. Establish and review finance, procurement and administration processes to enhance organisational efficiency.
  4. Provide secretariat support for the Home Team Corps Council.
  5. Collaborate with the Singapore Police Force (SPF) on cross-sharing of social media (including NPCC website) updates and publicity.
  6. Assist Commandant to prepare NPCC publications and annual report.

What we are looking for:

  1. Relevant experience in financial, procurement and administration management with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
  2. A dynamic and highly driven individual with strong analytical skills.
  3. Possess good communication and writing skills, and administrative planning ability.
  4. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
