Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the organizations IT needs and finding ways to improve the products and systems in place to enhance productivity, security and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain the cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data from threats.
  • Recommend upgrades and enhancements to top management, explaining the key benefits of new tech-based investments for the organization.
  • Assist in managing IS team members, assisting in performance evaluation and offering guidance for advancement within the company.
  • Identifying opportunities for IT training and developing classes that will equip employees to make the best use of the products and systems available.
  • Schedule and supervise IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, system updates and outages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of work knowledge in cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements, and end user computing.
  • Work experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Experience with conducting security risk assessments and incident management.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and managing Microsoft technologies - Office 365, Active Directory (ADFS, DHCP, CA, DNS, RMS), Exchange Service (O365).
  • Good work knowledge of security risk management, security governance framework and compliance (IT Security Audit/log review), technical vulnerability management (Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration testing), application security, security technologies (system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall), security incident response and security assessment.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience with budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other cybersecurity credentials) are highly advantageous.
  • Travelling up to 25% of the time is to be expected.
