A Career with Point72's Operations TeamPoint72's Operations functions, reporting into the Chief Administrative Officer, are responsible for supporting the firm's critical business functions across multiple teams, including Trade Desk Support, Operational Risk Management, and Regulatory Reporting. These teams ensure the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of core processes while adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards.

Across various teams, you will have opportunities to gain exposure to:
- Supporting the firm's daily trading activities across global markets, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange, and futures
- Leading and participating in cross-functional projects to support strategic initiatives
- Documenting and mitigating operational risks while managing vendor relationships and due diligence processes
- Preparing and overseeing regulatory filings and implementing automation tools to enhance efficiency
The Operations Internship at Point72 provides individuals with a hands-on experience in a variety of operational functions that are essential to the success of a global investment firm. During the program, you will experience firsthand:
- The fast-paced, competitive hedge fund world and industry best practices
- Finance professionals dedicated to investing in your success
- Interacting with senior-level professionals
In addition to the learning and development you'll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:
- Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals
- Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events
- Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths
- Get hands-on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use everyday
- Interact with groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry
- Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
- Participate in networking opportunities across the firm
- Expected degree from Dec 2026 to August 2027
- Foundational knowledge of international markets, corporate actions, futures, FX and OTC products
- Proficiency in Excel and exposure to technologies such as SQL, Alteryx, or Tableau
- Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
