Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of long-term plans that improve operational efficiency and support green growth
  • Set performance goals for environmental and resource use outcomes; track and review regularly
  • Oversee the delivery of major projects in areas like sustainability, space use, and digital tools
  • Identify and launch improvement initiatives across facilities, energy use, and workplace design
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure proper coordination with internal teams and partners
  • Analyse usage trends (e.g. space, energy, asset utilisation) to support better planning
  • Build reporting tools and dashboards that support evidence-based decisions
  • Advise business units on sustainability approaches and operational enhancements
  • Stay updated on international and local sustainability guidelines and best practices
  • Create action plans to reduce carbon footprint and improve environmental performance
  • Collaborate with vendors and public sector agencies on funding or pilot projects
  • Prepare proposals, evaluate solutions, and manage implementation phases
  • Drive internal digital innovation by identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Review internal workflows and policies to support smarter and greener operations
  • Support internal change by encouraging adoption of digital and sustainable practices
Requirements & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering, Facilities, Sustainability, or a related discipline
  • Over 15 years of experience in operations, built environment, or infrastructure projects
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience leading or delivering sustainability initiatives
  • Good understanding of green frameworks (e.g. carbon reporting, energy standards, eco-labels)
  • Familiar with building operations, project coordination, and performance tracking
  • Able to use data tools (e.g. dashboards, spreadsheets, visualisation software); coding basics (e.g. Python) is an advantage
  • Experienced in cross-team collaboration and engaging external stakeholders
  • Clear communicator with strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Able to manage complex projects involving multiple parties
  • Comfortable navigating change and improving internal systems or practices
