About Our Client

A leading materials trading and distribution multinational, they have achieved steady growth across APAC with Singapore anchored as a regional hub. As part of their succession planning, they are now looking for a strong finance business partner to lead their regional finance teams as a Finance Director.

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key finance leader to manage the full spectrum of finance controllership and steer business strategic directions. You will oversee in-country finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and operational excellence. As the key driver of finance excellence, you will champion new initiatives, improvement projects, identify and mitigate financial issues across the region. You will partner the business stakeholders to drive growth plans, including any potential M&A opportunities; optimise cashflow and treasury strategies whilst reducing FX exposure; work with external tax agents on transfer pricing.

The Successful Applicant

You should ideally be Degree qualified with at least 10 years of regional finance controllership experience in industrial trading and distribution businesses. You are comfortable being hands-on while possessing strong business acumen and a change agent mindset to improve processes.
