[What the role is]

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service () aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

You will be part of a team within the Department of Planning, Organisation & Sustainability (PODS) overseeing resource planning and allocation within Singapore Polytechnic.

[What you will be working on]

  • Assist team in the formulation of resource management policies and processes to support a strong resource management culture across the organisation
  • Collection, cleaning and structuring data from various internal stakeholders
  • Developing and refining data processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy

  • Prepare dashboards to support management reporting and policy communications

[What we are looking for]

  • Diploma and above in Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics or other adjacent fields will be advantageous

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power BI is required, applicants with coding and programming experience (e.g. Python, R) will be considered favourably

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders

  • Strong data storytelling instincts, with good attention to detail

  • Self-starter, able to work independently and proactively
