Senior/Accountant (SAP FICO and CO module)

Responsibilities

SAP System Activities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP FI and CO modules.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with testing, data validation, and user acceptance during system implementations and upgrades.
  • Develop user manuals, process documentation, and training resources to enhance finance teams' SAP knowledge.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or automation opportunities within Finance processes.
  • Deliver daily functional support to Finance users, troubleshooting system-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, SAP consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders in Finance and Operations to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and manage system integration.
  • Ensure that system processes and configurations comply with internal controls and accounting standards.

Group Reporting Activities:

  • Oversee and ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual management and budget reports to head office.
  • Review and evaluate both group-wide and subsidiary budgets on a quarterly basis.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' hands-on SAP FICO/CO experience, with exposure to related modules (SD, PP, MM) in a finance environment.
  • SAP FICO and CO module experience in manufacturing background
  • Familiarity with month-end closing and financial reporting in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong understanding of costing and accounting entries specific to manufacturing processes.
  • SAP certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP reporting tools (e.g., Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud) is a plus.
  • Experience in SAP upgrades, testing, and change management initiatives.
  • Proven track record in providing user support and training for Finance teams.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, analytical, and deadline-oriented.
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
