Nanyang Institute of Social Sciences (NISS) is an institute of higher education registered with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) under the Ministry of Education of Singapore, aiming to create a lifelong learning platform that incorporates quality higher education resources from the East and the West. NISS cooperates with top universities in China and outstanding higher education institutions in the West. It seeks to deconstruct and disseminate the theories and practices that support China's rapid economic development, share the cutting-edge research of western social sciences, and cultivate interdisciplinary talents with eastern wisdom and global vision.

We are now inviting applications for the position of Director of Student Recruitment & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategics management

· Develop and implement comprehensive student recruitment and marketing strategies to achieve enrolment KPIs and brand objectives.

· Continuously refine recruitment models and marketing approaches in response to industry trends and competitive dynamics.

  1. Team Leadership & Collaboration

· Lead and manage the student recruitment and marketing teams, driving performance and execution excellence.

· Foster effective cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration between marketing initiatives and recruitment processes.

  1. Marketing & Brand Development

· Oversee omni-channel marketing efforts, including online and offline campaigns, to enhance brand visibility and student conversion rates.

· Maintain and strengthen the institution's brand image, expanding influence in local and regional markets.

  1. Student Recruitment & Channel Development

· Design and optimize recruitment processes to improve conversion rates and enhance the applicant experience.

· Develop and maintain partnerships with corporations, alumni networks, industry associations, and other key recruitment channels.

  1. Project Management & Data-Driven Decision Making

· Monitor and analyse marketing and recruitment performance data to adjust strategies and improve ROI.

· Manage annual budgets to ensure efficient and effective allocation of resources.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Education Management, Communications, or related fields preferred.

· Minimum of 8 years' experience in marketing, sales, business development, or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

· Prior experience in higher education, international education, or related industries is highly desirable.

· Proficient in both Chinese and English social media platforms and digital marketing, with strong integrated marketing capabilities.

· Exceptional business communication, negotiation, and writing skills.

· Strong results orientation with strategic thinking, execution capability, and resilience to lead teams toward ambitious targets.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, driven, and outcome-focused approach.

· Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. As the role involves communication with partner universities, faculty, students, and third-party organizations in China, as well as the preparation of documents and materials in Chinese.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4, $7,500.00 per month
