We are seeking a dedicated and community-focused Retail Operations Executive (Part-time) to oversee the operations of our charity-based community mart 2 days a week. This role is vital in ensuring efficient operations while promoting a welcoming environment for our registered residents and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail management and a strong commitment to community service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mart operations, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for residents.
  • Ensure that inventory is stocked, organized, and displayed properly.
  • Address residents' concerns or feedback promptly and empathetically.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restocking of inventory.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to minimize waste and shrinkage.
  • Supervise, and schedule volunteers and staff to maintain smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and operational policies

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration/ Marketing/Retails or equivalent
  • Proven experience in retail operations
  • Strong people management skills with a passion for community engagement.
  • Good knowledge of inventory control and retail systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience working with charitable organizations.
  • Multilingual abilities to better serve a diverse community.

Working Hours & Location

  • Community Mart at Stirling Road
  • Every Wednesday and Sunday
