We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join Vulcan Shield Global as a Legal Deputy Director for Alumina Continuous Fibre Products. The Legal Deputy Director is responsible for managing all aspects of legal aspects of the company related to alumina continuous fibre products. This role involves providing legal support and advice, while also ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, implement legal policies and strategies and all legal matters of investment initiatives.

General Responsibilities

Legal Advice:

Providing legal guidance and opinions on various matters, including contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

Contract Negotiation and Drafting:

Negotiating and drafting legal agreements, ensuring they comply with applicable laws and the organization's interests.

Risk Assessment:

Identifying and assessing potential legal risks for the organization and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Compliance:

Ensuring the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Litigation and Dispute Resolution:

Managing legal disputes and representing the organization in court or other legal proceedings.

Strategic Support:

Providing legal and strategic advice to management on business decisions. Legal Support and Advice: Providing legal guidance and support to the organization's various departments and projects.

Policy Development: Contributing to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicating with and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders on legal matters.

Project Management: Overseeing and managing legal aspects of various projects and initiatives.

Litigation and Negotiation: Representing the organization in legal matters, including litigation and negotiations.

Research and Analysis: Conducting legal research and analysis to support decision-making.

Job Experience & Requirements

Requirement:

Education: PHD or law degree related.

Experience: Substantial legal experience, often in-house or at a law firm for minimum 10 years of relevant working experience.

Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of Laws and Regulations: Expertise in relevant legal areas and regulations.

Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

Mobility/Travel

Yes, when business requires.

Language

Good spoken and written English and Mandrin.
