About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinic Assistant to join our growing GP clinic at Central Business District. As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinic and ensuring our patients receive high-quality, personalised care.

This is a full-time position based in our clinic at Cecil Street, providing you with the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment. Working hours are office hours Mon to Friday, Saturday half-day. and Sunday is off.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival, and guiding them through the check-in process
  • Assisting the medical team with various administrative and clinical tasks, such as preparing examination rooms, sterilising equipment, and managing patient records
  • Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked clinic environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience
  • Adhering to all relevant healthcare policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a healthcare or customer service role will be valuable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in using common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and electronic medical record systems (e.g. Clinic Assist)
  • A team player with a positive, patient-centric attitude
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and procedures, or a willingness to learn
