Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis APAC roles and responsibilities include delivering financial insights, managing planning cycles, and supporting strategic initiatives through detailed analysis across the APAC region.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles in coordination with regional business units and department heads.

2.     Monitor financial performance against budget, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights on risks and opportunities.

3.     Prepare and present detailed management reports, including trend analysis, variance explanations, and business commentary.

4.     Perform scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support business planning and investment decisions.

5.     Support the executive and strategy teams with financial models and analysis for major initiatives such as new market entries, expansions, and pricing decisions.

6.     Identify performance drivers and provide actionable recommendations to enhance profitability and efficiency.

7.     Work closely with cross-functional partners in Operations, Sales, Real Estate, and Engineering to align financial plans with business strategy.

8.     Serve as a financial advisor to business leaders, ensuring data-driven decisions across the region.

9.     Drive improvements in financial planning and reporting tools, processes, and templates.

REQUIREMENTS

·       Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a recognised educational institute. Professional qualification of CPA/ACCA preferred.

·       Minimum 5 of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis. Candidates from big 4 accounting firm and listed company experience desired.

·       Experience in financial modeling, budgeting and variance analysis

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

·       Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
