Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to residents.
  • Plan, organize, supervise, and evaluate nursing services to maintain clinical excellence.
  • Provide reassurance to residents and families, addressing concerns and feedback promptly.
  • Implement, monitor, and audit nursing skill competencies.
  • Identify training needs, collaborate with the Training Department, and design programs to close skill gaps.
  • Conduct and coordinate orientation, on-the-job training, dementia care, caregiver training, and clinical attachments.
  • Audit resident case notes and documentation to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure smooth and cost-effective department operations, while upholding MOH, HCSA, and clinical requirements.
  • Advocate for best practices in clinical care and support the professional growth of nurses and care staff.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Fully registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Degree in Nursing, with either an Advanced Diploma, post-basic nursing qualifications, or post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Nursing.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience (within the past 10 years) as a Registered Nurse in a nursing home, geriatric, or palliative care setting.
  • At least 6 years of clinical experience, with a strong coaching/training background.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore's healthcare regulatory environment and corporate governance practices.
  • Demonstrates integrity, independence, and ability to influence organizational culture and decision-making.
