As a Senior Quantity Surveyor (LRT/MRT Projects), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Review contract documents, take measurements, and prepare Bills of Quantities.
  • Support contract administration, prepare progress claims, and liaise with the Client's representative on claims and variations.
  • Source quotations, conduct price comparisons, and prepare Bills of Quantities for tender pricing.
  • Prepare monthly budget statements for review by the Superior.
  • Keep the Superior updated on contractual and site-related matters.
  • Review and verify Subcontractors'/Suppliers' claims, prepare payment certificates, and seek approval from the Superior, Project Manager, and Directors (CE).
  • Attend site and progress claim meetings.
  • Monitor each project during the defects liability period upon completion.
  • Maintain the Department's Quality System

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in LTA/MRT projects will be an advantage
