EX Inspector

Job Title: EX Inspector (CompEx Certified) – Project Basis

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified EX Inspector (CompEx Certified) to join our team on a project-based contract . The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in hazardous area inspection and maintenance, preferably within the oil & gas or marine industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment installed in hazardous (EX) areas.
• Ensure all works comply with CompEx, ATEX, and IECEx standards.
• Prepare inspection and test reports in line with client and project requirements.
• Identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with engineers and supervisors to ensure all project deliverables are completed safely and on time.
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and verification purposes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in EX inspection and maintenance.
• Valid CompEx Certification (Ex01–Ex04) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of hazardous area classification and inspection procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Available to work on short-term or project-based assignments.

Preferred:

• Experience in shipyard, offshore, or petrochemical projects.
• Familiar with Singapore safety standards and client site procedures.
