We are seeking a Senior Operations Executive to join our trading operations team. Responsible for planning, execution, and control of fuel oil blending activities to meet agreed quality, volume, schedule, and cost objectives across Singapore and Malaysia operations. The role ensures disciplined coordination among terminals, floating storage units, surveyors, laboratories, agents, and internal stakeholders, with full traceability of decisions and results. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee full-cycle execution of commodity trades, including blending, loading, shipment and discharge operations. Manage and guide coordination with third parties (agents, terminals, inspectors, surveyors) to ensure efficient and timely cargo handling. Monitor trade flows and proactively identify operational risks, implementing corrective measures when required. Collaborate closely with chartering, finance and risk teams to ensure seamless trade execution and alignment with commercial objectives. Plan and execute fuel oil blends to meet agreed quality, volume, schedule, and cost targets. Schedule and supervise blending at terminals and floating storage units; confirm tank line-ups, transfers, sequencing, and component availability. Coordinate sampling, testing, and product release with surveyors, laboratories, and terminals; review results and authorize adjustments as needed. Manage ex-wharf operations: berth/jetty nominations, barge allocation, loading instructions, and reconciliation of terminal vs. barge figures. Maintain accurate inventory, reconciliation, and movement records; issue cargo/operations instructions and keep a complete, audit-ready file. Monitor operational and schedule risks; escalate early, implement corrective actions, and report daily KPIs (right-first-time, re-blend rate, cost/ton, turnaround). Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Oil and Products trading, mainly Fuel oil or Distillates 2+ Years Blending Experience in Fuel oil is mandatory, especially FSUs Very well versed with the Singapore and Malaysia Fuel oil market Strong command of Incoterms, shipping documentation and trade finance processes. Proven ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with CTRM systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, analytical and decision-making skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
