Central Region, Singapore PERSOL Full time $60,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs aimed at enhancing residents' functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Regularly evaluate and document residents' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Provide training and education to residents, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with company policies and quality standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for residents.
  • Engage in orientation and in-service education programs to enhance team knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in geriatrics or long-term care.
  • Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
