Senior Electrical Engineer - EZ.M
Our client is looking for an experienced electrical engineer to ensure the technical integrity and reliability of electrical systems whilst providing maintenance and technical support to operations and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise maintenance and reliability improvement programs for electrical equipment, especially in the Gas Engine Generator (GEG) area.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure consistent execution of electrical maintenance tasks.
- Plan and execute minor CAPEX electrical projects in compliance with company guidelines.
- Investigate electrical equipment failures, perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including government agencies on electrical compliance and technical matters.
- Support major expansion projects from an electrical and operational perspective.
- Collaborate with Licensed Electrical Workers to ensure integrity and safety of electrical systems.
- Participate in emergency response activities and perform assigned electrical roles during such events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in electrical maintenance or design in oil & gas, petrochemical or power generation facilities.
- Strong technical experience with high voltage electrical power systems.
- Highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in planning, executing and supervising maintenance activities and minor projects.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and dynamic operational environments.
