About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join DAPAIDANG GROUP PTE. LTD., a leading player in the hospitality and tourism industry, as a Management Trainee in one of our premier restaurants located in the Orchard Central Region. As a Management Trainee, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of restaurant operations and have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills to fast-track your career in the industry. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

What you'll be doing

  1. Rotating through various departments within the restaurant, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative functions, to develop a well-rounded understanding of restaurant operations
  2. Assisting the restaurant management team with daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, customer service, and sales reporting
  3. Participating in the planning and execution of special events and promotions to drive customer engagement and revenue growth
  4. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient systems and procedures
  5. Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable dining experience for our patrons
  6. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies
  7. Undertaking special projects as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or General Manager

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field
  2. Demonstrated passion for the food and beverage industry, with a keen interest in restaurant operations
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
  5. Fluency in English and Mandarin to engage with guests, proficiency in bilingual operating systems,
  6. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
  7. Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, but not essential
