About our Line of Business – Satellite Systems

ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd. (SatSys) is a joint venture founded in 2010 by ST Engineering, DSO National Laboratories, and Nanyang Technological University. Today with our expertise and comprehensive suite of satellite engineering and test facility, SatSys design and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such as Electro-Optical (EO) camera, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and more, to meet the mission objectives of our customers.

Be Part of Our Success

  • Perform inspections of electronic components, raw materials at receiving, work-in-progress and finished product to verify compliance with established quality procedure and standards.
  • Identify any quality issues or non-conformances, report directly back to the QA team and collaborate with the team to implement the corrective actions.
  • Maintain records on the inspection activities, report trends and feedback to QA team.
  • Follow detailed work instructions to inspect mechanical, electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies and wire harnesses.
  • Verify that the inspected product meets the requirements through the use of gauges such as Calipers and micrometers.
  • Ensure the inspected product is packaged correctly & properly stored before shipment to customer.
  • Assist with documentation of inspections and other non-routine activities as assigned by management.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to QA team on process improvements and quality control measures.

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in operating various inspection and testing equipment, such as micrometers, calipers.
  • Relevant certifications or training in quality control, such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma, would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; communication skills and be able to use their own initiative in carrying out daily duties.
