The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supervising all aspects of the food and beverage service operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction. This role includes overseeing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Leadership
- Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department.
- Supervise and support F&B staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest experiences.
Operations Management
- Ensure efficient and effective service delivery during all operating hours.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas and events.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Financial Management
- Assist in the development and management of the F&B budget.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, food, and beverage expenses.
- Analyze sales and revenue reports, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation of daily sales.
Staff Training and Development
- Conduct regular training sessions for F&B staff on service standards, product knowledge, and health and safety practices.
- Develop and mentor staff to enhance their skills and career development.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 2 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques, menu planning, and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3, $4,000.00 per month
