Job Description:

The Investment Office of the National University of Singapore manages all invested funds of the University. The funds are invested globally across liquid and illiquid asset classes including public equities, fixed income, private equities, hedge funds and real estate. The objective is to provide long term sustainable returns to allow the National University of Singapore to meet its spending needs for current and future generation.

The Investment Analytics and Solutions Team support the operations of the Investment Office, including operational due diligence, investment performance measurement, performance and risk analytics, portfolio operational management, compliance, stakeholder reporting and development of the office data infrastructure.

The Investment Analytics and Solutions Team is looking for a self-motivated professional to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Investment Analytics and Solutions team to provide first class analytical and operational support to the Investment Office.

The candidate is expected to have at least seven years of domain expertise in any of the following areas:

  • Compliance

  • Fund Administration or Operations

  • Investment Performance Measurement & Attribution

  • Operational Due Diligence

  • Operational or Investment Risk Management

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

  • Thirst to constantly learn

  • Ability to collaborate across team as well as work independently

  • Clear thought process

  • Strong inter-personal communication skills

  • Driven, analytical, hands-on

  • Exposure across different asset classes, experience with related technology platforms, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI or programming languages (R or Python) would be a plus.

The level will commensurate with the experience, skills that the candidate brings to the position.
