As a Pharmacy Technician (Compounding), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist in preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounded medications according to prescriber instructions.
  • Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately while maintaining detailed records of formulations.
  • Ensure compounded medications meet quality standards and are free from contamination.
  • Assist in checking for errors in the formulation, mixing, and packaging process.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the compounding lab, including cleaning equipment, workstations, and tools.
  • Manage and track compounding supplies, chemicals, and equipment to ensure appropriate inventory levels.
  • Assist with ordering and receiving supplies, checking for accurate stock and expiration dates.
  • Assist with the coordination of medication delivery or pick-up for patients.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
