About the Role
The Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) is seeking a proactive and detail-orientated individual to join our Engagement & Fundraising team as an Executive. In this role, you will support the Engagement & Fundraising Manager in managing partnerships, delivering campaigns and events, creating content, and performing key administrative tasks.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause, help strengthen SAVH's presence in the community, and make a tangible difference in the lives of persons with visual impairment.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Relationship Management
- Assist in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with government agencies, corporate partners, and other community groups etc.
- Support the planning and execution of initiatives that raise funds, create awareness, and enhance inclusion for persons with visual impairment
Communications & Content Management
- Support the management of SAVH's social media channels and digital presence.
- Assist in content planning, creation, and coordination with vendors to ensure consistent messaging across digital and print platforms.
- Help craft communications that highlight SAVH's programmes, people, and impact.
Event Planning & Administrative Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events and campaigns.
- Provide administrative support to the Engagement & Fundraising Manager.
Other Duties
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support team objectives.
- Help with volunteer management where needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Mass Communications, Business Management, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for social impact and commitment to supporting persons with visual impairment.
