Senior / Lead Project Data Analyst

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: 2-Year Contract, Full-Time

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead Project Data Analyst to join a central transformation office in Singapore. The role will focus on driving data analytics initiatives across enterprise systems and cloud platforms, enabling the organisation's journey toward becoming data-driven and digitally empowered.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to design, deliver, and maintain analytics solutions, while also contributing to the organisation's Analytics Centre of Excellence (COE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide a team of data analysts within an Agile product team, supporting the Product Owner in delivering analytics solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to develop end-to-end analytics solutions from conceptualisation through deployment.
  • Build and deliver custom non-standard reports by integrating data from ERP (SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, SAP Analytics Cloud) and other enterprise systems, using cloud-native platforms (Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Deliver reports and insights via visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business, engineering, and policy teams to improve analytics platforms and address user requirements.
  • Monitor, validate, and improve solution performance post-deployment.
  • Provide operational support and maintenance of analytics platforms and systems.
  • Contribute as an active member of the Analytics COE, sharing knowledge and adopting best practices.
  • Curate and deliver training sessions to upskill colleagues in analytics tools and techniques.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, Data Science, AI, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in developing advanced analytics or data science solutions.
  • Strong skills in SQL, R/Python, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with analytics and machine learning platforms, and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Experience with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an advantage.
  • Strong business analysis skills to translate needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
