Job Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Provide excellent customer service and management at all times.
  • To handle customer enquiries and complaints
  • Proactively assist in offering information and alternatives to help customers including up-selling menu items and daily specials.

Café Operation

  • Assist in performing opening and closing shift duties whenever required with appropriate supervision.
  • Perform operational duties which include barista duties, order taking, serving, clearing garbage, and general cleaning within the outlet.
  • Responsible for stock positioning, shelf life, and monitoring of stock level (food display, beverages, perishable & non-inventory items).
  • Perform cashiering duties on POS system, to ensure proper accountability for cash registers and orders are entered accurately for kitchen processing.
  • Assist in ensuring that all menu offerings are in stock, check on customers' orders, and provide recommendations for food/beverage menu.
  • Plan staff's duty roster and assign duties to staff/ deploy staff where necessary
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at all times.
  • Deliver professional cleanliness, effectiveness, and efficiencies in the café.
  • Undertake any other assignments and/or ad hoc duties as and when assigned.
  • Manage the outlet in the absence of the Operation Manager.

Other Requirements

  • Preferred at least 1 to 3 years working experience managing a café kitchen or kitchen-in-charge
  • Approachable demeanor

  • Attention to details
  • Attendance and punctuality to work is required
  • Any past café experience would be advantageous

Remuneration & Working Hours

Salary: $2,400 to $2,600 Depending on experience & positions

Working Hours: 5 days per work week (44hrs), PH off-in-lieu
