School Health Lead (Preschool/Primary)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of either the Preschool or Primary School Health Screening Programme.
- Lead and supervise a team of nurses and/or health screening assistants to ensure high-quality, efficient, and safe delivery of services.
Manage and execute health screening activities, which may include:
Vision and color vision tests
- Height and weight measurements
- Audiometry tests (for Primary)
- Health education sessions
- Lifestyle and health questionnaires
- Liaise with preschools, primary schools, and stakeholders for scheduling, site setup, student list coordination, and overall project implementation.
- Develop deployment plans and oversee on-site screening teams to ensure smooth workflow, adherence to protocols, and compliance with PDPA and safety standards.
- Prepare operational reports, maintain incident logs, and support audits, reviews, and training as required by HPB.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing or a Health-related field preferred.
- Experience in school or community health an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Able to manage and support a team effectively.
- Comfortable working across multiple school locations.
