Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct enforcement according to Legislation, Standards, Code of Practice and othre requirements from project basis
  • Conduct investigations of incidents
  • Be part of the Risk Management Team and be involved in reviewing and commenting on Risk Assessments
  • Liaising with staff, consultants, owners and other relevant third parties with regards to safety issues
  • Responsible for implementing, monitoring, reviewing and ensuring compliance with the WSHE Management System
  • Conduct safety briefing and safety training
  • Maintain proper documentations, certificates and other related EHS records
  • Plan, coordinate and assist in Safety and Health audits
  • Manage sub-contractors' safety procedures and ensure compliance with the Company's Health and Safety standards, policies and practices
  • Administrate monthly reporting of Safety and Health statistics
  • Oversee all other matters relating to WSH
  • Any other ad-hoc duties

Job Requirements

  • At least Higher Nitec or Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering Design / Marine Engineering / or other engineering related field
  • Preferably 2 years' experience in HSE (Training will be provided)
  • WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) will be an advantage
  • Hot Work Assessor
  • Work At Height Assessor
  • Confine Space Assessor
  • Detailed and good writing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate ability to work as a team
  • Possess a pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Seatrium Shipyard (Tuas Pioneer Sector 1/ 15 Benoi Rd)
  • Mon - Thur: 8am - 5.15pm
  • Fri: 8am - 4.30pm
  • Transport provided (selected areas)
