The Director of Business Strategy execute the growth and business strategies of the company.  You will work with the company's Executives Team to identify business opportunities, formulate the strategies and execute go-to-market plans.  You will keep abreast of market trends and developments, be fast to adept to changes, as well as being agile to seize new business opportunities quickly.

If you are the one with an entrepreneurial mindset, astute business acumen, great leadership and incisive interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also be a creative and resourceful strategist with excellent organisational abilities and execution strengths.
 
The goal is to build, develope, execute and expand the company's businesses that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop and implement business strategies, and execute go-to-market plans according to the company's goals and objectives.
  • Identify emerging opportunities to create profitable business models. Execution of the plans and bring incremental revenue streams to the company.
  • Source for complete and cost-effective solutions for the business plans.  This will include working and coordinating with the different functional teams within the company, with its affiliated companies as well as external partners.
  • Act to acquire new customers and business partners.  Concurrently, maintain excellent relationships and understand the requirements of existing customers and business partners for greater partnership and expansion of business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance and progress of business activities using key metrics and prepare reports for the Executive Team.
  • Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as Director of Business Strategy or other relevant role. Prior experiences in the healthcare/medtech/life science sector preferred.
  • BSc/BA in life science or relevant field desirable; MSc/MA is a plus.
    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Biology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Medical Science, BioTechnology, Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical) or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): business strategy and planning, business management, business acumen, business development, channel sales, Communication Skill.
  • Independent, decisive and self-starting, and will pro-actively chase opportunities and develop business execution plans.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Biotechnology, Sales - Corporate or equivalent.
