ASEAN Distributors Director

Key Strategic Responsibilities:
1. Market & Partner Development
- Assess and prioritize distributor opportunities by growth potential, strategic importance, and market fit.
- Identify and secure new partners in underperforming territories; optimize existing network for impact.
- Drive the exploration and capture of "white space" growth opportunities in collaboration with commercial team.
2. Growth Programmed Leadership
- Design and deliver cross‑ASEAN distributor growth initiatives aligned with Givaudan's 2030 ambition.
- Deploy best practices for distributor focus and support across countries and business units.
- Ensure strategic programmes are aligned with internal stakeholders for seamless execution.
3. Distributor Capability Building
- Provide structured training, marketing assets, and technical tools to elevate partner competitiveness.
- Facilitate adoption of digital platforms such as Givaudan Connect and Marketplace to improve commercial efficiency.
- Strengthen market positioning through targeted flavour collections, promotions, and tailored portfolios.
4. Commercial & Portfolio Excellence
- Ensure Givaudan's distribution portfolio remains competitive, relevant, and easy to navigate.
- Guide and align pricing strategy with commercial heads, pricing specialists, and regional account managers.
- Embed Givaudan's Distribution Business Model within the commercial organization to ensure clarity and engagement.
5. Governance & Performance Management
- Act as the central point for strategy deployment, performance review, and capability evaluation across 7 ASEAN countries.
- Implement a standard distributor framework covering market assessment, capability scoring, gap prioritization, and incentive systems.
- Monitor results, track KPIs, and provide regular impact reports to leadership.
Your professional profile includes:
- Thorough understanding of food /flavor landscape and Distribution business model
- Knowledge of accounts/segment/region/country/category, and management - including general market knowledge of flavour industry
- Ability to build and maintain relationship with senior customer decision-makers and the Givaudan commercial organization
- Ability to work and lead projects in matrix organisation.
- Experience with value-based pricing
- University degree in related field – Business / Marketing
- At least 10 years of experience in a Commercial leadership
