Our client, a well-known consultancy firm in the construction industry, is looking for candidates for the Principal Engineer position.

Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team where your expertise in civil and structural engineering will drive impactful projects. Bring your design and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute detailed design across various engineering fields, including drainage, sewage, bridge/tunnel, and underground excavation.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to provide technical support for design approvals.
  • Analyze structural components using industry-standard engineering software.
  • Manage projects to uphold quality standards and ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Review and execute design tasks, ensuring adherence to submission deadlines and quality requirements.
  • Mentor junior staff by providing guidance and enhancing their technical skills.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering.
  • Strong background in the analysis and design of geotechnical works, concrete structures, steel structures, and soil-structure interactions.
  • Proficient in various engineering design software and analytical tools.
  • Experience in project management and design coordination is advantageous.
