Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Financial leader with a demonstrated business acumen having a desire to learn and evolve with a growth-oriented entrepreneurial business model
  • A strategic business partner who will establish strong relationships to the senior leadership at Singapore and Global leadership.
  • Management of current 3rd party accounting firm ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting meeting the corporate close timeline(s)
  • Leadership of key projects relating to financial operations or financial systems
  • Support of the Daily P&L reporting process with Operations Leadership
  • Ownership and control of the monthly financial close process, including internal controls over Accounts Payable / Receivable and Treasury activities, managing receipts and payments to suppliers
  • Manage the Company's cash flow, cash projection and action plans with Branch Leadership to support the financial goals and cash stability
  • Ownership of account reconciliations with detailed analysis and commentary on changes in the Balance Sheet and Income Statement
  • Support the Country Manager and Operations team to identify and capitalize on profit enhancement opportunities
  • Ownership of annual external audit, providing all the necessary support and clarifications to ensure a quality audit in a timely manner
  • Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives, new customer(s) or product or service offerings / launches within Singapore
  • Review finance, accounting and tax adequacy on all contracts
  • Focus on financial efficiency through cross functional engagement and technology use

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Chartered Accountant or CPA, or equivalent is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Management and Accounting
  • Must have proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • Oracle (or Large ERP system) and Payroll system experience preferred
  • Experience in dealing with foreign currency and foreign countries is preferred
  • Audit experience is preferred

  • Expectation of "roll up your sleeves" ownership mentality, working in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Strong leadership skills; employee management experience preferred
  • Project Management skills both leading multifunctional projects and being a contributing member
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with peer group and senior leadership
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in complex environments
