Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze project scope and determine project specifications.
  2. Establish test programs for product investigations; analyze test programs for adequacy and sequence.
  3. Examine samples for compliance with requirements of appropriate Standards.
  4. Communicate project status and results to clients through frequent contact and by preparing reports.
  5. Work with the lab staff in test specification and coordinate administrative aspects of project management.
  6. Resolve engineering issues by analyzing and reporting on the acceptability of variations.
  7. Integrate continuous improvement concepts into all aspects of the job; suggest new equipment, processes, and forms to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  8. Assist in the development of UL requirements, test methods, and test equipment; analyze test programs for adequacy and sequence.
  9. Collaborate with commercial teams for sales and marketing needs.
  10. Engage with industrial associations and engineering institutions to understand market trends and needs.
  11. Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related fields.
  2. 3 to 6 years of experience in engineering, design validation, testing, and certification in Power or Automation systems.
  3. Knowledge of conformity standards relevant to the field.
  4. Experience with type, routine, or special tests per local/global standards is advantageous.
  5. Good communication skills in English.
  6. Ability to handle documents carefully and patiently.
  7. Quick learner, logical, and stable.
  8. Customer-focused mindset and team player.
