Working Location: Central 

Salary Package: Up to $8.5k + AWS

Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Application Infrastructure Specialist who will be responsible for managing the Cloud infrastructure aspects of various projects from initiation to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business and application requirements, and design infrastructure solutions accordingly.

  • Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and oversee maintenance contracts, negotiating terms with vendors to ensure value for money.

  • Lead the planning, deployment, and support of application infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows, SQL Server clustering, and VMware virtualization (vSAN).

  • Coordinate the integration of AWS and Azure Cloud services (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) into the organization's infrastructure.

  • Ensure all infrastructure projects adhere to public/government standards

  • Oversee daily operations and support for application infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in ICT infrastructure operations.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure Cloud services, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS is an added advantage.
  • Experience in public/government sector is an added advantage.
