About the Opportunity

This position will gain exposure to MNC operations and overseas book experience, working closely with an understanding Finance Manager and a supportive team. This on-site role provides practical finance knowledge and hands-on learning opportunities, all within a positive work culture that encourages growth, continuous learning, and skill development.

Key Responsibilities

Letter of Credit (LC) Management

  • Review LC terms and coordinate with Logistics on BL instructions.
  • Prepare, verify, and submit LC documents to banks for timely payment.
  • Liaise with banks to resolve discrepancies and monitor payment status.

Accounts Receivable (AR) Operations

  • Manage full AR cycle including invoicing, receipt posting, and reconciliation.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate AR records and assist in month-end closing.

Credit Control & Reporting

  • Monitor importer/dealer credit limits and unblock orders where appropriate.
  • Track over-limit or overdue accounts and ensure timely collection.
  • Consolidate APAC credit status and provide management updates.

Talent Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of experience in AR, Letter of credit handling, and credit management, preferably with overseas books.
  • Strong knowledge of LC terms, AR operations, and credit control practices.
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a MNC environment
  • Good communication skills to liaise with banks, internal teams, and overseas counterparts
