The Opportunity

  • Our Client, an US MNC in the Automation & information industries
  • They are currently looking a NPI Buyer to expand the Procurement/Purchasing/Buying team with the addition of a Buyer/Procurement Exec
  • $4500 - $5300 (Base on experience)
  • 12-month contract, convertible & renewable
  • Completion bonus
  • Work Location: Corporation Place, West

The Talent

  • Min Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistic, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Must have 3 to 5 years minimum experience in Purchasing, Procurement or related function
  • Must have knowledge of handling sourcing systems, SAP, ERP
  • Understanding in MRP, inventory, and production principles
  • Problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Exposure in Six Sigma is added advantage

The Job

  • Handle NPI Sourcing
  • Handling the full spectrum and cycle of Buying, Purchasing, Procurement
  • Able to use SAP for project builds, mass production, tracking and flag-out
  • Cost savings and cost mitigation
  • Proficient analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Able to work with stakeholders
  • Has experience to purchase materials and services that comply with agree, using contract/standard pricing with suppliers
