At Guadua Hardware Trading, we are at the forefront of acquiring traditional businesses with a lack of succession planning to rejuvenate them. We are seeking a dedicated Wholesale Sales Associate to join our team and contribute to our growth strategy by creating a positive brand experience.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Wholesale Sales Associate to support our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and converting customers through various channels, including e-commerce, networking, store visits, and referrals. Your ability to meet and exceed our customers' expectations will be crucial in maintaining strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and converting customers through various channels, including e-commerce, networking, store visits, and referrals.
  • Showcase the features and benefits of products or services, highlighting how they can solve customer problems.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with customers, ultimately aiming to close sales, add new accounts and grow their basket sizes over time.
  • Build strong relationships with both new and existing assigned customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Follow up with customers after sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Maintain records of sales activities, prepare sales reports, and update superiors on sales progress.
  • Stay informed about product knowledge and market trends to effectively sell and adapt to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in different departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or any related field.
  • Strong familiarity or knowledge of Indonesian markets and Indonesian consumer preferences.
  • Close connections and contacts with Indonesian businesses that can be leveraged to expand international accounts.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to consistently follow-up on any correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
