Key Responsibility :

  • Assist the Deputy Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or QS Manager in supervising and guiding a team of Project Quantity Surveyors.
  • Support in the preparation of project cost budgets and cash flow projections, and update forecasts based on design or construction changes.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting variation orders (VO), extension of time (EOT), and cost claims.
  • Coordinate closely with the project team to ensure timely appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Liaise with the technical team to ensure that quotations comply with project specifications and construction methods.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and measurements within the required timelines.
  • Source quotations and conduct cost analyses based on drawings, design requirements, materials, and labour costs.
  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents, analyse quotations, and negotiate to award subcontracts for the project.
  • Attend site inspections, technical meetings, and project briefings as required.
  • Review and prepare contract agreements for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Evaluate and certify progress works, manage contract administration, and handle variations for both main and subcontract works.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and assess subcontractors' payment claims.
  • Finalise both main contract and subcontract final accounts.
  • Advise clients on cost feasibility and provide recommendations on cost control.
  • Prepare Operation and Maintenance Manuals (OMM) prior to project handover

Job Requirements :

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification, with relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Singapore M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) sector.
