Assistant Manager – Data Innovation & Protection Group

Location: Pasir Panjang, Singapore

Contract: 11 months (renewable based on business needs & performance)

Salary: $4,000/month

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager to support Singapore's data and AI innovation initiatives. This role focuses on enabling responsible data use, driving community engagement, and supporting ecosystem development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor automation scripts (e.g., Workato) to streamline manual data processes.
  • Build and update dashboards to track registration, engagement, and trends within the Data Protection Officer (DPO) community.
  • Ensure backend data processes are accurate and timely.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for certification applications, awards, and programme queries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 1 year of full-time experience.
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with databases.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modelling).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (RPA, Workato) or programming (Python) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
