About the Role

Join us as Associate Director – Investments-Linked & Pension Business Propositions at AIA Investment Management

We are seeking an Associate Director to join our Group Investments-Linked & Pension Business (GULPB) to be responsible for TDA & Service Propositions. This is a regional position supporting all AIA group companies. Reporting to the Head of Propositions for GULPB, the incumbent will also be involved in strategy and business planning.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Business Planning:
• Lead strategy formulation and initiatives related to growth plans, new markets entry, distribution strategy, new customer segments, and partnerships for the Investment Linked and Pension business, collaborating with relevant Group functions and Local Business Units (LBUs).
• Recommend and build business cases for strategic initiatives, translating ideas into execution plans and transformation programs.
• Identify and assess growth opportunities, new customer or product segments to expand the Investment Linked and Pension business across LBUs.
• Evaluate industry trends, conduct market research, analyze the competitive landscape, and communicate insights impacting the business.
• Coordinate with LBUs for Quarterly Business Reviews and the Annual GULPB Business Strategy pack.

TDA and Service Proposition

• Enhance customer experience through TDA by developing and promoting digital tools for Investment Linked and Pension offerings, including front-end and back-end developments.
• Identify operational enhancement opportunities, collaborating with Group Investment Services, Middle Office, and LBUs to develop solutions.
• Develop and manage dashboards with key metrics for management reporting and decision-making.
• Oversee GULPB portal and other digital assets.

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably with an MBA or Master's degree.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, with a strong numerical background.
• Experience in business planning, financial modeling, and proposals.
• Background in Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, or Strategy Consulting within Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Bancassurance, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Consumer Banking is advantageous. Experience in Fund Management or Wealth Management sectors is a plus.
• Understanding of Wealth Management & Investment Linked Fund Propositions in Asian markets, including regulatory landscapes.
• Self-motivated, delivery-focused, with strong communication, influencing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment and lead large, complex projects across functions.
