We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Patient Liaison Officer to be the key point of contact for patients and their next-of-kin (NOK). In this role, you will coordinate appointment requests, admission arrangements, and provide support throughout the patient journey. You will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure that every patient receives a seamless and positive experience.


Key Responsibilities

Patient & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the single touchpoint for enquiries from private patients, their NOKs, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Coordinate appointments based on patient needs while adhering to clinical and operational guidelines
  • Arrange admissions and liaise with doctors, nurses, and internal departments to ensure a smooth process
  • Handle VIP/VVIP appointments and support direct admission or air evacuation cases when required

Service Delivery

  • Demonstrate strong listening and communication skills to understand and address patient needs
  • Handle complaints tactfully and perform service recovery when needed
  • Provide go-the-extra-mile service to enhance the patient experience

Operational Duties

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Identify service gaps and escalate improvements to the supervisor
  • Support productivity and workflow enhancement projects
  • Assist in data collation, reporting, and filing in accordance with hospital policies
  • Promote teamwork and collaborate closely with hospital staff

Requirements
  • Minimum 'O'/ 'A' Levels or Diploma in any discipline
  • 3–4 years of experience in healthcare or customer-facing roles (e.g., frontline, service, hospitality)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills
  • Meticulous, service-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, empathetic, and able to handle pressure with grace
  • Familiar with ethical and professional standards in healthcare
