As a SharePoint Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering cutting-edge Microsoft 365 solutions that empower organizations to excel in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
What You'll DoSolution Design & Development
- Partner with business stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and translate them into robust SharePoint solutions.
- Architect end-to-end SharePoint environments (Online and On-Premise), including Teams, OneDrive, and related services.
- Lead the development and customization of SharePoint solutions using out-of-the-box features, SharePoint Designer, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and custom code when needed.
- Automate workflows and design user-centric forms to streamline business processes.
- Integrate SharePoint with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP) and third-party tools for seamless operations.
- Ensure a consistent, intuitive, and branded user experience across all SharePoint sites and applications.
Environment Management & Administration
- Oversee the creation, configuration, and ongoing management of SharePoint site collections and subsites for optimal organization and accessibility.
- Define and manage security protocols, permissions, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data.
- Establish and enforce content management policies and best practices for data integrity and lifecycle management.
- Monitor the health and performance of the SharePoint environment, proactively addressing issues and ensuring stability.
- Lead upgrades and migrations, including transitions from legacy systems to SharePoint Online.
Collaboration & Support
- Communicate effectively with business users, IT teams, and management on project progress and strategic initiatives.
- Provide expert support and engaging training to drive SharePoint adoption and effective usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless integration within the broader IT landscape.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with agility and expertise.
Leadership & Strategy
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering growth within the Microsoft services ecosystem.
- Manage Microsoft 365 projects from planning through execution and closure.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest Microsoft 365 advancements and best practices.
- Contribute strategic insights to enhance the organization's digital workplace and champion innovation through emerging technologies.
- Provide architectural leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing SharePoint and M365 environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and managing SharePoint environments (Online and On-Premise).
- Deep expertise in SharePoint architecture, infrastructure, and best practices, with broad knowledge of M365 services.
- Proven skills in SharePoint development, customization, and integration with Power Platform and custom code (JavaScript, .NET, SPFx).
- Strong understanding of security, user management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with SharePoint migrations and upgrades.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Desired certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, or development-focused certifications (SPFx, Power Platform).
